QUESTION 11
Will AI Marketing Just Make My Boston Firm Sound Like Everyone Else?

Let's be real for a minute.
Boston does not hand anything to anyone. You already know that, win or lose, that is the city: gritty, hard-working, never the team that quits. That is exactly why this answer matters here more than almost anywhere else.
The league is shrinking. AI is cutting headcount across this city right now, period. The winners will be the ones who know how to put it to work, and frankly, some of them are already winning. But here is the part almost nobody is saying: AI has also just handed the underdog their best and last shot at a seat at the table.
Picture it like the Celtics moving from a twelve-man roster to a three-man roster. Every team in the league would suddenly need the same talent with a fraction of the seats to hold it. The market floods, and the teams that were priced out of the players who could actually make a difference can finally afford them.
AI exploits mediocrity and drives it at scale.
That is what is happening to your city's talent pool right now. AI will not just make your firm sound like every other firm. It will make you as broke as every other firm, unless you use this flood to your advantage.
Three things change that. Build a real Brand Guide, not the one someone else threw together while you were too busy to do it yourself: two to three hours, no AI, the truth of your business DNA, where you stand, where you are going. Then build a real Avatar. Boston does not need a fantasy niche buyer. It needs the real person, the real data, what actually makes them decide, and how to talk to them in the language they already use. Then get your Brand Voice locked: the dos and don'ts of how you actually say it, because the internet is already full of carbon copies of every firm selling the same thing the same way.
You worked for every bruise and every scar that got you here. Do not become the mediocrity AI is about to expose at scale. Ask AI the same generic question in the same generic way, and yes, you will sound like everyone else. That was never the voice of a Boston firm.
